Ministry of Health eating guidelines

The Ministry of Health recommend that New Zealanders should eat five or more servings of fruit or vegetables every day. Ideally this means 3  serves of vegetables and 2  serves of fruit a day.

The link between health and vegetable consumption is even more compelling with vegetables rather than fruit – that is why the suggested ratio is 3:2.

Vegetables.co.nz promotional material is based on this recommendation. All vegetables are included in this recommendation.
