Broccolini looks elegant with its long tender stalks. It is similar to broccoli to cook and eat, so use broccolini instead of broccoli in recipes.
1 bunch broccolini
grated rind of 1 orange or lime
1 Tbsp avocado oil
1-2 Tbsp orange or lime juice
Wash and trim broccolini stems if necessary.
Steam broccolini with orange rind until just tender, about 3-4 minutes.
Place on a serving dish and drizzle with the avocado oil and orange or lime juice.
To microwave: place broccolini in small bunches around the edges of a flat platter, cover and cook on high power for 4 minutes or until just tender.
