Stir fried sesame baby carrots
Baby carrots taste delicious like this.
½ Tbsp canola oil
1 Tbsp sesame seeds
½-1 Tbsp canola oil
2 cloves garlic, peeled and finely sliced
2½ cups baby carrots, or 2-3 carrots sliced in 2 cm slices
Heat first measure of oil in a wok or non-stick frying pan until hot.
Add sesame seeds and stir fry until golden brown. Remove from pan.
Add second measure of oil and heat.
Add garlic and stir fry until it is just changing colour.
Add carrots and stir fry over a medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until carrots are tender.
Serve with sesame seeds sprinkled on top.
Variation: add ½ tsp sesame oil to the second measure of oil.
