The Vegetables for Healthy Kids toolkit has been produced by the Ministries
of Health and Education, and SPARC, as part of Mission-On’s campaign
to improve the lifestyles of young New Zealanders through improved nutrition
and increased physical activity. This resource was distributed to Early
Childhood Education Centres throughout New Zealand in December 2008.
The kit is designed to help centres to encourage children to taste and learn
about a wide range of vegetables in a fun and interactive way.
