Stir frying keeps the flavours of the vegetables. Don't overcook the cabbage and serve it as soon as it is cooked. So simple - and so delicious.
2 Tbsp canola oil
4 cups sliced cabbage
2 cups sliced celery
2 Tbsp finely chopped parsley, coriander or basil.
2 Tbsp runny honey
2 Tbsp white wine vinegar
Heat a heavy-based frying pan. Add oil then cabbage and celery.
Add herbs, honey and vinegar and toss well to ensure vegetables are well coated and honey has melted. Do not overcook.
Variation: add 1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped to the frying pan before adding the vegetables.
