Kumara pizza

Thick slices of kumara make a great base for snack pizzas.

Kumara pizza


Makes 4

1 large kumara, sliced into 4 slices
¼ cup sliced lettuce
120g sliced cooked pork
2 tomatoes, sliced
1 red onion, peeled and finely sliced
1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese
¼ cup pea sprouts, for garnish


Preheat oven to 180°C.
Place kumara slices on baking paper on an oven tray. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until soft.
Arrange lettuce, pork, tomatoes and onion on top. Sprinkle with cheese and return to the oven until cheese melts.
Garnish with sprouts and serve.
