Silverbeet contains plenty of great nutrients – it's good for us, so be sure to serve it as part of your meals.
4 leaves silverbeet
freshly ground black pepper
Wash silverbeet, remove and discard coarse end of stalk.
Slice leaves off stalk and slice stalks into 1 cm lengths. Slice leaves roughly.
Bring a little water to the boil in a saucepan, add stalks and cook 2-3 minutes until just tender.
Add leaves, place lid on top and cook for 2-3 minutes or until wilted.
Drain and serve sprinkled with black pepper.
