Strawberry, pear, mesclun and walnut salad
So pretty, this is a popular salad over the festive season.
2-3 pears, quartered and cored
2 Tbsp lemon juice
3 cups mesclun salad
8 strawberries, halved
¼ cup roasted walnuts
1-2 Tbsp balsamic glaze or syrup
Slice pears into chunks and put into a bowl.
Add lemon juice and toss to coat all sides.
Place mesclun salad in a serving dish, add pears, strawberries and roasted walnuts.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve.
