Tomato pasta sauce
Serve this easy to make tomato sauce with pasta, steamed vegetables and cooked meat.
1 Tbsp canola oil
2 onions, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2x 400g cans crushed tomatoes or 8 tomatoes, chopped
¼ cup tomato paste
½ tsp finely diced chilli (optional)
Heat oil in a large saucepan.
Cook onion until soft.
Add garlic and cook briefly.
Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste and chilli and cook until thickened.
