Roast asparagus and bacon
So easy and super tasty! Prepare ahead of time and quickly cook when ready
Ingredients
Makes 12
36 spears asparagus
12 rashers streaky bacon
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Method
Preheat oven grill.
Break off the ends of the asparagus.
Wrap a rasher of bacon around three asparagus spears.
Place on the baking tray and grill under preheated grill for about 5 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
Sprinkle with black pepper, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice (optional) and serve.
Tip: These are easy to cook on a hot BBQ plate also.
