Kale smoothie

Kale is described as nutrient dense as it is a good source of folate, vitamins A and C, and a source of fibre, niacin, vitamin B6, calcium and manganese.

Serves 4

2 cups lightly packed sliced kale leaves, stalks removed
1 cup chilled milk
1 banana
¼ cup yoghurt


Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
Serve immediately.
